As you know, Sree Chamundi Vidyapeedom situates at Karikkakom is a part and parcel of the famous sanctum sanctorum Sree Karikkakom Chamundeswari Temple. It is the embodiment of a great heritage and blessings of the Goddess who is “The Witness of Truth”. I consider myself specially privileged to be a part of this great legacy and to present my maiden message to my dear students and respected parents.

Having monitored the development graph of many students for many years, I am forced to confess that the school itself cannot do any wonders; parents who shoulder all the burden of running the family are doing a disservice to their children. It is much better to get them involved in it so that they too learn the value of struggling together, achieving together and staying together. If children are denied a role in the day to day affairs of the family, they are less likely to develop a sense of responsibility and a sense of belonging. Your education at Chamundi Vidya Peedom moulds and cultivates ideal citizens to meet the hurdles in front of your life.

Education is very important for the all-round development of an individual. It helps in the character and moral development of a person. Education is very important to make progress in science and technology. Teachers should be the guardians of civilization. The function of a teacher is to open new vistas of knowledge before her/his pupils.
